Marilynn Hughes has written a beautiful book about Michael Jackson's early afterlife experiences. Now before some readers get turned off by this, please let me explain. I am not a blind believer of just anything I read. Having been trained in the sciences, I would say I have a discerning intellect, and have been a skeptic at times in my life. I have also felt a strong connection to the spirit since childhood, but in the past few years I had become increasingly separated from those feelings. I've always been curious about the connection between spirit and science, which includes near-death, afterlife, and out-of-body experiences, and happened across the author's website in the days after Michael's death (which now looking back, I don't think was a coincidence).
Ms. Hughes, a Roman Catholic mystic (my description) began seeing Michael's afterlife, which she found surprising since she was not really a fan of his; as her story unfolded on her blog, I found it fascinating and comforting. You see, when Michael died, I was overcome with a torrent of emotions, the intensity of which baffled me. I had been busy in school, then work for the last 15 years or so, and had lost interest in Michael Jackson and much of pop culture. Well, non-stop crying is what stuffing your feelings for 15 years will do to you. MJ's music represented my lost innocence, my childhood, my teenhood, my early adult life, indeed my WHOLE life, recorded on vinyl and film, including all of my unresolved loss and pain. MJ's suffering was mine. And though I didn't understand his decisions sometimes, I never thought he would ever hurt a child. Since childhood, I always felt this pure vibe from Michael's heart. I don't know how else to explain it.
It comforted and uplifted me to read these accounts of Michael's experiences, whether I believed they were true or not. To imagine Michael seeing the Galactic Heavens for the first time, with his broad beautiful smile, feeling the presence of the God he tried to serve - soothed me, especially in light of how he suffered so much in his life. In every chapter I was touched by Ms. Hughes' humanity and sincerity in her encounters and came to feel closer to God and Jesus Christ through this telling of Michael's story. Let me make clear though, that Ms. Hughes shows great love and respect for all religions, and the book is interspersed with quotations and scriptures of mystics and the holy from most major religions around the world. This is another reason why I loved this book, because I believe God is bigger than any one religion, and that God loves all of us UNCONDITIONALLY.
The only disagreement I have with anything in the book is the author's understanding of Michael's spiritual growth during his lifetime. She states Michael was caught up in the pursuit of fame (probably true) and other appetites in his earlier adult years (probably not true), but became more aware of the needs of others and more spiritually-inclined as he got older. Ms. Hughes admits she never followed Mike's struggles until he asked her to write this book, and so really could only base her opinion on what she learned in her "travels" after his death. She certainly did not have the time to do 'net research once she started writing this book, as busy as Michael kept her, so I understand why she would not know the truth (heck, I don't know either!). This possible error actually seems to give her more credibility.
Whether you really believe in Marilynn Hughes' descriptions, or you are just a fan seeking some comfort in your grieving by reading a beautiful tale about Michael's spirit, I strongly recommend this book to any spiritually-inclined Michael Jackson fan. She also has a website, [...] , where you can read any of her books for free, which is what I did at first. I later used her link to come to Amazon to buy the book, as I want to support this author, because I believe God is working through her. BTW, watch for the chapter entitled "The Most Beautiful thing in the World"...that one really touched me (within a book full of very moving chapters). Peace and L.O.V.E. to you all!

I loved this book and it helped to bring closure for me. I have been a fan of Michael Jackson's since he was 8 years old. His death hit me very very hard. I found this book was Michael's way of telling his millions of fans, that he is okay and now at peace. We all need an open mind. I truly believe that Michael was touched by God in his life and this makes perfect sense that Michael would communicate to us this way. Michael's message was one of love, kindness, and believing in God 's love.
My heart is still broken, but my soul knows he is singing now with the angels

I have read many books on death and dying, near-death and out-of-body experiences by many various authors who had died and returned or came close to it and came back to write about it and those authors who actually do "spirit work" while out of body. These authors wrote about either helping those souls on the "Other Side" or have seen these helpers. These special helpers work either alone or with others or with angels. Marilynn Hughes is one of those very precious spiritual helpers and is likened to that of Robert A. Monroe, who established "The Monroe Institute" where others may learn how to go consciously out-of-body and be helpers to those souls who have passed. I would like to add that we are all spirits - we are just occupying a body while living on this Earth with a day-to-day consciousness that is very restricted and limited, except for those who have a higher consciousness.
While Marilynn was "out and about" Michael Jackson came to her because he felt his life paralleled that of Marilynn's in many ways, even having similar health issues regarding Lupus. Plus, Marilynn had lots of practice writing books. Her books about Michael Jackson's Afterlife experiences are fascinating and heartfelt, and is a "must read." The most important message that Michael wants to get across to the people is how to heal the world and mend the family structure, and at the same time Marilynn writes about the "real" Michael in spirit. He had a very trying, lonely and often times unhappy life while on this Earth; but it is very comforting to learn that he is healing and is very happy and in very good company in the higher dimensions. Someday he will be joined with all his loved ones and family no matter what their religion or belief system might be. God, Jesus and those on High love unconditionally.
I had started reading Marilynn's books since 1991 which began with "Odysseys of Light" wherein she talks about the "Other Side/Heaven/Spirit World" and helping souls, which are included in so many of her books following 1991. Her books were very comforting to me after the deaths of my mother, father and brother. I can tell you whole-heartedly that Marilynn Hughes is the "real McCoy" and very credible, and I thank her for her unceasing dedication and devotion in working with the Divine and in helping so many souls, both in the Spirit World and in the physical. She has sacrificed and endured much through her pain of Lupus and other health issues in helping to bring Light to the many dimensions and realms.

I was watching "My Friend Michael Jackson: Uri's (Geller) Story" on the TV Guide channel some months ago when Uri revealed an important fact about MJ. Uri hypnotized Michael because MJ wanted to gain more mind power to stop eating junk foods. But while Michael was in trance Uri asked Michael questions as to whether those accusations were true. Uri admitted that he had a streak of suspicion, so he asked, "Michael, did you in any way touch a child inappropriately?" Michael quickly answered, "No! I would never do that!" Uri also asked, "Why did you pay off the boy's family?" Michael answered, "Because I had enough. I couldn't take it any more."
So with that, Uri knew that Michael was without a doubt innocent, saying, "This was a private validation that this poor man is innocent." Michael while living never knew that he was questioned under hypnosis.

I want to belive in miracles...
Marilynn Hughes gives us a positive look at the meaning of Michael Jackson personality and his creative life.
Michael is all about Love to the planet Earth and all it's creations.
I read his poems and think about how we make our own destiny. I can feel his pain...his innocence.
So gentle, and caring, and loving heart. He can touch your soul with his lyrics. Personally, I do not like his "Thriller" era that was his blessing in a music industry and also a curse in his life. I can relate to his more mature period.
"Black And White", "Man In The Mirror",the inspiration behind "We Are The World", "Earth Song", "They do not care about us", "Heal the World", "Cry", "Speechless",etc.
He is a true Artist. He is a Man. He is a true Human.
They say:"He was famous because he was not normal" - this opinion is for the crowd. We all have two sides that are forever in conflict. But rare unique human as Michael Jackson with his philosophy of "Heal the World with Love" brings very strong moral message. His talent is able to touch the souls of people who are prepared to listen and open the mind of those who are able to think.
For me Michael is like a meteorite.
Burned out but left bright light...
There will never be like him again. Genius and Love is a very rare combination.
Allow yourself to know Michael Jackson in his deepest emotions.
Open your heart, feel it, give your love back to the world, make a change...

I was not too sure about Michael Jackson? The press destroyed Him. It was nice to see the real Michael Jackson and take a peek at what happens to You when You Die. A Good Read. If Your A true Michael Jackson fan or devotee You can come to Marilynn Hughes Sight and learn what Michael was really about thru His books written by Marilynn also Her other books will get You in the Spirit thru Jesus Christ and You will be able to find out how thru God You can personally help Michael continue to heal the World. He is in Spirit and I have met Him several times by using Marilynn`s methods and teaching. Michael is A Magical and Kind person. It`s Stunning to meet Him in Spirit.
