A must read for anyone who followed the media on Michael Jackson! August 18, 2009 Hope Bray (Latrobe, PA United States) 45 out of 45 found this review helpful
I've always been a fan of Michael, and have always cringed at the media and how they destroyed his life from the very beginning. This book is well written, and choc-full of information about the child molestation case. EVERYONE needs to read this. Whether you believed in Michael from the beginning, or whether you were a doubter and believed everything the media said. The facts in this book will set you straight.
God Bless this man, and keep him safe from everything he endured during his short stay with us on Earth. We, as people, did not appreciate this "Angel of God", so God took him back. I can only pray that his pain is now over.
Great read! Don't pass this one up if you want the REAL facts on this case.
An honest account.... September 11, 2009 abbey's love (Australia) 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
An eyewitness, honest and factual account of the events surrounding the 1993 allegations. Geraldine Hughes faced obvious adversity in relaying the facts of these events and had to self publish this book.
Well done! That took integrity and courage in the face of obvious adversity to do so.
To anyone thinking of purchasing this book - please do - along with the Aphrodite Jones "Conspiracy" book. What a picture they paint.
Two facts are indisputable; (i) There was only one victim. (ii) The media's efforts...well....obvious that ratings rule over integrity, and factual news reporting. Yet the extent the media went to is totally beyond comprehension.
I have never really been a Michael Jackson fan.
But I was inquisitive to seek out the facts of these events.
Shame America, shame.........
Innocent! September 18, 2009 SHarry (UK) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
Michael Jackson was Innocent - Here's the proof
This book is a must read it proves Michael Jackson was innocent of the child molestation allegation in 1993. The payout to the Chandler family was made for negligence by Michael Jacksons insurance company, not Michael Jackson, and was not for child molestation. There are copies of the Court papers on the internet which confirms this. Negligence, because the boy wanted to spend to time with his mother, sister and Michael at weekends instead of visiting his father and this spoilt the father/son relationship. The father Evan Chandler tried to extort money from Michael Jackson for his film projects this was after he had wanted Michael to pay for building extensions at his home, he saw Michael Jackson as a meal ticket. Again Michael had too many people, lawyers and friends, giving him advise and they told him he should settle out of Court.
a media feeding frenzy.....all so unfair! October 13, 2009 N. Lehmann (Australia) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have bought this one for a friend........... it makes interesting reading. Intuition and gut feelings are reliable. I have since read some of the testimonies from the Arvizo trial and they link back to several involved with this issue. Clearly it set a bad precedent and in hindsight Jackson's advisors at the time where shortsighted. Somebody has to link this book and Conspiracy to actually show what was actually happening. It is time for Michael Jackson's Redemption. Even now there is controversy regarding the previously unreleased song..............Let him rest in peace! This is certainly not "it" and his reputation must be restored by the media. Judicial bureaucracy can resemble a lynch mob.
A "must read" August 29, 2009 Micaela (Manila, Philippines) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I purchased "Redemption" to know the truth. It did not disappoint. Thanks to Geraldine Hughes, the truth behind the child molestation allegation was revealed. This book should be part of every MJ fan's library. It's an impenetrable shield that will help any loyal fan defend the King of Pop.
